A Brief Message from Bob Hackworth

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I am looking forward to meeting you while I am out visiting with local residents and listening to their ideas and concerns for our country and its future. As Mayor of Dunedin I have a record of commitment to good government, human and civil rights and the environment. I plan to take that commitment to Washington to serve District 10 as a true citizen legislator representing the people, not special interests.

As Congressman I will work with the new administration to immediately put a responsible end to the dubious and costly war in Iraq and free up the $10 billion a month to deal with more pressing concerns such as ensuring that all Americans have high quality health care, addressing the current economic situation in Florida and the nation, and working to end our addiction to foreign oil while never compromising Florida by removing restrictions on off-shore drilling.

I have a vision for a brighter future in America, a vision where we work together to solve problems regardless of party affiliation. Be a part of that vision with me and let’s make it a reality.
